Dan Thomson - Partner
Dan is a successful graduate of the program and now wants to share it with you.
Whether in the boardroom, on the football field, on stage or in the lecture hall, Dan has led, motivated and inspired individuals and organizations of all sizes, to recognize and overcome challenges impeding their development, progress and success. With Career Illuminators, his mission is to empower and inspire you to discover and harness what really motivates you in order to enable you to make clear, confident and powerful choices.
Dan has both a psychology degree and a law degree from The University of Western Ontario. He teaches business law at York University through both The Schulich School of Business and The Atkinson School of Administrative Studies.
Formerly a corporate lawyer for a large international law firm based in Toronto and in London, England, Dan has also gained valuable experience heading up an insurance division for a Fortune 500 company’s Canadian operations. He also has extensive front-line and board-level experience working with a variety of not-for-profit organizations including the Toronto Children’s Breakfast Club, Camp Oochigeas, The Ontario Camp of the Deaf and the Toronto Mendelssohn Choir.
